In 2016, she decided she was done waiting for permission to build something of her own.

On Jewel started as one woman's answer to that – a small, family-run jewellery store built against the idea that women need a reason or a sign-off to start. No investors, no big plan, just a sharp eye and the belief that good jewellery shouldn't cost a fortune or look like everyone else's.

We're a family business. The picking is collective – my mother's taste, our instincts, years of knowing what actually gets worn versus what just photographs well. We source small because we want to, not because we have to. When something feels right, we bring it in.

Every piece here is anti-tarnish and under ₹500. Not because we're a budget brand — because we think jewellery at this price point can still be worth keeping. Worth wearing every day. Worth passing on.

What started as one woman's act of independence has become something the whole family stands behind. A store that looks like us, stocks what we'd actually wear, and exists because in 2015 someone in our family decided that was enough of a reason.
